We’ve got more than ever planned for Garden Re-Leaf Day 2018. Alongside the annual 10 or 20 mile walking challenge, there’s now a new cycling route as well with routes of 50 and 100 miles. Garden centre teams from all over the country are signing up for the sponsored route along the Ridgeway and through the Chiltern Hills.
Since 2012, Garden Re-Leaf Day has raised over £600,000 for the charity. Greenfingers create inspiring gardens in children’s hospices around the country. To date, the charity has built over 50 gardens which many children and their families have benefited from.
Now in its eighth year, Garden Re-Leaf Day is the biggest charity fundraiser in the garden industry’s calendar and has raised over £600,000, including over £70,000 in 2018 alone. In 2021, Garden Re-Leaf Day, like many events, will take on a virtual element to enable more people to get involved from the comfort of their own homes and offices, and to ensure the necessary social distancing can be maintained. 2021 marks a very special occasion for the annual Garden Re-Leaf Day event as this special FUNdraising day (March 19th, 2021) celebrates its 10th anniversary!
